What I love about Randi’s work is her unique “flow” style. It is not only visually captivating, it evokes such a feeling of calm and peace. Her large pieces make you feel as if you are right there in the scene. You can almost hear the rustling of the leaves within the forest or feel the sun on your face during an amazing Lake Michigan sunset. You can literally feel the movement of nature around you…a cool breeze, the sun setting, the clouds drifting. My favorite painting is “Enchanted Forest”; it hangs in my personal sanctuary and I feel so at peace when I am in that space.

Thanks so much again for the paintings. They’re stunning and even more captivating in person, as expected. I even get a little movement in the forms when looking at it sometimes. Thanks as well for packaging the paintings so well and framing them so nicely. Into the Sun has already brought such an awesome and positive energy into our home. Grateful to you for that!

Sayed

We got the painting on Friday and had the best unboxing moment! It is so beautiful! Thank you!

The painting made it to our home safely thanks to your expert packaging. We feel so fortunate to be the keepers of this masterpiece and look forward to displaying in our home. We love it so much and my wife can't believe it is ours. I think even our cat Lenny likes it too.

Meet the Artist

Randi Ford’s artistic expression beautifully captures the tranquility and allure of nature in her paintings. After living in the city of Grand Rapids during the formative years of her artistic career, she is now grateful to be nestled within the woodlands near the picturesque shorelines of the Sleeping Bear Dunes in northern Michigan. There she is looking forward to the endless inspiration she will have for her work, and a deeper connection to nature.

Ford’s dedication to her craft is visible when viewing her paintings that express and evoke the spirit of life, beauty, and harmony she finds within nature. Randi's desire for her work is to have her collector's lives brightened by her paintings. Her wish is that her paintings would inspire her collectors daily, connect them to natural wonders, and create more peace and harmony in their lives.

"I want to capture that awe-inspiring moment in nature and communicate that feeling so that people can connect with those moments every day and remember the sacredness of our lives." -Randi (Ripley)Ford

Why Randi's Art?

Randi grew up creating art, singing, and dancing as an only child in a family of artists, designers, and craftsmen. She has dedicated her life to developing her skills as an artist to create impactful paintings that create harmony for others. Getting juried into the top fine art festivals and showcased in galleries as a young artist, she has received honors and has been recognized for her work throughout her life and career.

Randi takes her time to develop and design her compositions to create a balanced and harmonious painting that creates peace. She is masterful at mixing colors that reflect the hues she finds in nature's perfect color palettes found within the landscape. Randi breathes life into each brush stroke and flowing line, creating a painting filled with movement and life.

"I want my pieces to create harmony in my collector's life, not tension. I improve on this with each piece that I make, each naturally becoming more masterful and emotive." -Randi (Ripley)Ford

Randi received her B.F.A from Grand Valley State University in 2012. She has won multiple awards for her work through juried art festivals, and has been featured in many publications. She was featured on the cover of the Good Harbor Bay Magazine, recognized by national magazines like the SouthWestern Art Magazine, The Magazine of Contemporary Illustration, and The American Scholar Magazine, and was awarded Best Artist Under 30 by Plein Air Magazine 2019. Randi has taught 2D Design at Grand Valley State University as an adjunct.
